December 2025 Update

Can you believe another year is almost over? I truly loved this year’s conference — celebrating the Fool, the new venue, and the incredible speakers made it a standout for me. Honestly, this was the highlight of my year, and from the feedback I’ve received, I know you felt the same way.

While I’m usually the one introducing the speakers, it’s rare for me to step up and speak myself. I’ll admit, I get nervous standing on stage — but once I got going, I really enjoyed it! Anyway, if you would like to check out my workshop for yourself, here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU-P7MZy1Yc

As the year comes to a close, it’s a perfect time to reflect. I want to say a big thank you to all the publishers who supported our goodie bags: Bill Krause/Llewellyn, Mario/Lo Scarabeo, Severine Jeauneau/Red Feather, Michelle Pilley/Hay House, Pongpunt/Gypsy Fair Thailand, @boo_cult — and everyone who donated items for the Bursary and raffle. Your generosity truly makes this event special.  And of course, a few special people, Helen Hall, Steven Bright and Liz Dowden — Liz makes the best cake and runs the stand at the conference. I am so grateful to have so many wonderful people in my life, too many to name everyone, but you know who you are.

A special shoutout to Chris Butler for creating Arcana 78 — such a fantastic project! Keep an eye out, because something very exciting is coming.  Yes, it is the gift that keeps on giving! There are just 8 decks left from the first limited print run http://tarotconference.co.uk/

This year I had a dream trip to Salem, Betty Jane Ware, thank you for being such a great friend and my personal Salem tour guide, we had a ball.

Looking ahead, planning for the 2026 Magician Conference is already underway! Speakers are booked, and we have some surprises in store. This year, we’ll be celebrating the 75th anniversary of Pamela Colman Smith in style — it’s going to be something special!   http://tarotconference.co.uk/booking/

Tarot by the Sea in March is sold out, and on June 6th, I am launching a mini Tarot Day in the heart of Canterbury. There is an Early Bird offer running until mid-January http://tarotconference.co.uk/special-events/

Thanks for being part of this journey. Here’s to a fantastic end to the year and an exciting year ahead!

Martin and I would like to wish you all a wonderful Yule and a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

With much love, Kim x

2025 has had an interesting start and I am hoping the Hermit year improves. After what felt like an eternity waiting for the calendar to turn into April for the Tarot by the Sea retreat, it suddenly arrived. The venue in Ramsgate changed ownership at Christmas, and a new events team took over. There was a period of chaos that left me feeling uncertain about their readiness for our…

  • November 2025 Update

November tends to be a slow month for work, which I deliberately chose. I close my books to focus on things I’ve neglected. Right now, I’m going through my Tarot collection—some decks date back decades, and I honestly don’t know what to do with everything. I’ve accumulated over 100 books and more than 300 decks,…

The 2025 ‘Fool’ conference is wrapped up until next year, and what a blast it was.  I am already working on 2026, more on this later. There was something very special about the energy this year.   I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the new venue worked well, the food was excellent, the…

  • July 2024 Update

July is typically a quiet period for our conference preparations, aside from following up with attendees who have been holding a ticket on deposit I took the opportunity to take a break with my family and enjoyed a wonderful 7-day stretch of sunshine in Marbella (what is going on with our weather)? You would think six months prior to a fully sold-out conference life would be easy. If anything, it is picking up pace. I honestly don’t know where the time goes. My priority is always the conference, as you know the in person event is sold out, and I have been following up with emails checking that…
