December 2024 Update

The December Newsletter is always a moment of reflection for me, a time to look back on the year and evaluate the highs and lows.

This year’s conference was arguably one of the best we’ve had since the pandemic. And while there were a few behind-the-scenes stresses, it’s essential that all of you see only a seamless event which looking at your lovely feedback it was!

As I wrap up the year, I find myself incredibly grateful for so many people. First and foremost, I want to thank you for being part of my tarot family. Also, our wonderful sponsors—Llewellyn, Schiffer, Red Feather, Hay House, Lo Scarabeo, Pongpunt Wongnongteoi, Watkins, and Kindred Spirit magazine. I remember the days when I had to scramble for items for our goodie bags, and now I feel truly blessed to have such amazing publishers generously supporting the UK Tarot Conference. (Deposits are open we are already over half full for 2025). Click here.

In other news, I had the joy of attending the official launch of the Vedic Tarot, hosted by Dwina Gibb. It was a lovely night filled with wonderful people—and an excuse to wear a fancy suit and high heels! Dwina’s journey in creating this deck is captivating, and I must say, the accompanying book is a fantastic read. Support your local bookstores or check it out here.

I’ve pulled out my Yuletide Tarot from the shelves, and I’m really enjoying using this deck throughout the holiday season. Kudos to Kristoffer Hughes and Erin O’Leary Brown for creating such a lovely deck; I highly recommend it! Click here.

Talking of recommending ……. My four-page article in the Winter Edition of Kindred Spirit magazine is now on the shelves, see what decks caught my eye and which ones didn’t quite hit the mark (I know tastes vary, but I did receive some questionable decks lol).

As for 2025 = 9, the Hermit card doesn’t evoke the best feelings for me. I have a hunch that we may face challenges next year. However, I believe the Hermit encourages us to reflect on how we can navigate the possible storm ahead and take the time we need for introspection. (Hermit card is ME from the Unique Tarot Deck by TarotJo). Click here.

Finally, before I bid you a heartfelt hug, whatever you are doing over the festive season, stay safe, have fun, take time to walk, indulge, scrap the diet until January and think about how the Hermits energy can help you navigate 2025 as best you can.

That is all for 2024, as they say that’s a wrap!

Much love and a happy Yule/Christmas and wishing you a healthy and abundant 2025.

Kim

  • November 2025 Update

November tends to be a slow month for work, which I deliberately chose. I close my books to focus on things I’ve neglected. Right now, I’m going through my Tarot collection—some decks date back decades, and I honestly don’t know what to do with everything. I’ve accumulated over 100 books and more than 300 decks,…

We have successfully found our new venue.  After much to-ing and fro-ing the contracts have been signed!  We are returning to Kensington High Street, and I’m thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting our event at the Copthorne Tara Hotel. We’ve secured the largest space in the hotel,…

  • February 2024 Update

They say January is the longest month of the year, but for me it went by way too fast, not only tying up loose ends with the Conference venue, but also working on a new project which is confirmed in the diary for 3-5th April 2025 (more on this later) the month went by in…

This month, I had a meeting with the events team at The Copthorne Tara Hotel. Julie, my new contact, was delightful, professional, and on the ball, something I haven’t been used to in the past (lol).    She could not have been more helpful, which in turn stops me from hyperventilating!   Although we have a larger…
