December 2025 Update

Can you believe another year is almost over? I truly loved this year’s conference — celebrating the Fool, the new venue, and the incredible speakers made it a standout for me. Honestly, this was the highlight of my year, and from the feedback I’ve received, I know you felt the same way.

While I’m usually the one introducing the speakers, it’s rare for me to step up and speak myself. I’ll admit, I get nervous standing on stage — but once I got going, I really enjoyed it! Anyway, if you would like to check out my workshop for yourself, here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU-P7MZy1Yc

As the year comes to a close, it’s a perfect time to reflect. I want to say a big thank you to all the publishers who supported our goodie bags: Bill Krause/Llewellyn, Mario/Lo Scarabeo, Severine Jeauneau/Red Feather, Michelle Pilley/Hay House, Pongpunt/Gypsy Fair Thailand, @boo_cult — and everyone who donated items for the Bursary and raffle. Your generosity truly makes this event special.  And of course, a few special people, Helen Hall, Steven Bright and Liz Dowden — Liz makes the best cake and runs the stand at the conference. I am so grateful to have so many wonderful people in my life, too many to name everyone, but you know who you are.

A special shoutout to Chris Butler for creating Arcana 78 — such a fantastic project! Keep an eye out, because something very exciting is coming.  Yes, it is the gift that keeps on giving! There are just 8 decks left from the first limited print run http://tarotconference.co.uk/

This year I had a dream trip to Salem, Betty Jane Ware, thank you for being such a great friend and my personal Salem tour guide, we had a ball.

Looking ahead, planning for the 2026 Magician Conference is already underway! Speakers are booked, and we have some surprises in store. This year, we’ll be celebrating the 75th anniversary of Pamela Colman Smith in style — it’s going to be something special!   http://tarotconference.co.uk/booking/

Tarot by the Sea in March is sold out, and on June 6th, I am launching a mini Tarot Day in the heart of Canterbury. There is an Early Bird offer running until mid-January http://tarotconference.co.uk/special-events/

Thanks for being part of this journey. Here’s to a fantastic end to the year and an exciting year ahead!

Martin and I would like to wish you all a wonderful Yule and a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

With much love, Kim x

The December Newsletter is always a moment of reflection for me, a time to look back on the year and evaluate the highs and lows. This year’s conference was arguably one of the best we’ve had since the pandemic. And while there were a few behind-the-scenes stresses, it’s essential that all of you see only…

I’m currently preparing for my Canterbury event on June 6th.  As I do my homework, I find myself thinking about my school days when trips to the cathedral were part of the curriculum. I must admit, I found all the historical details quite boring back then. However, gaining a deeper understanding of the religious and…

We’ve secured the largest space in the hotel,…

Just back from a Mediterranean cruise, I’ve developed a habit of searching out Tarot shops wherever I travel. Dubrovnik, apparently has quite an active Tarot scene, and I had my heart set on visiting a specific shop I’d researched beforehand. After walking in circles trying to find it, it was closed when I arrived!!!! Peering…

  • February 2024 Update

They say January is the longest month of the year, but for me it went by way too fast, not only tying up loose ends with the Conference venue, but also working on a new project which is confirmed in the diary for 3-5th April 2025 (more on this later) the month went by in…
