September 2025 Update

The countdown to the 22nd UK Tarot Conference has officially begun, and as always, this close to the event, I find myself lying in bed, wide awake as ideas and reminders flood my mind around 3 a.m.— my memory leaping into action in the quiet hours 😊. September is always a busy month, it’s a balancing act of ticking off tasks on the list while staying flexible in case of last-minute changes that could throw a spanner in the works. Staying prepared for any eventuality is key!

So, I took an unplanned trip to the venue this month as our events manager has changed (What is it with hospitality that no one stays anywhere long?).  Anyway, a pleasant email from Husein, who has taken the role, saying he would be taking care of us, had me jumping on a train to meet him in person. I am relieved to say, he was on the ball and up to speed with all our requirements.

Once again, I am truly amazed by the generosity of publishers and individuals who sponsor your goodie bags. In the early years of the conference, I was much too shy to ask for anything, but the incredible reputation the event has built worldwide is truly humbling. It’s a great honour to be associated with some of the biggest names in MBS publishing. Thank you, Llewellyn, Red Feather, Hay House, Lo Scarabeo, US Games, Boocult, and Pongpunt Wongnongteoi. I am genuinely touched by the kindness of so many amazing tarot friends who support us.

As we wind up the arcana run, reaching 22 years, we have plenty in store to make this conference a standout event.  Part of this is the creation of Arcana 78, which has created an unexpected life of its own. I will explain more at the conference. Chris Butler has been a dream to work with, and the cards are beautiful.

It is an honour to welcome so many people from around the world this year, joining us in London from every corner of the UK, Europe, America, Canada, Australia, and the far East, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan and China, you have my promise that I will do everything in my power to make this an unforgettable experience (for all the RIGHT reasons of course!).

Everyone attending will receive an ‘All you need to Know’ email from me about a week before the conference, and if you are joining us virtually, look out for an email a few days before the event with all the information you need for a wonderful Tarot experience.

Virtual tickets are available http://tarotconference.co.uk/booking/

This is the last NEWS update before the conference. You can keep updated with the event by joining our Facebook page ‘UK Tarot Conference Group’, or IG @uktarotconference.

See you on the otherside!

November tends to be a slow month for work, which I deliberately chose. I close my books to focus on things I’ve neglected. Right now, I’m going through my Tarot collection—some decks date back decades, and I honestly don’t know what to do with everything. I’ve accumulated over 100 books and more than 300 decks,…

You would think six months prior to a fully sold-out conference life would be easy. If anything, it is picking up pace. I honestly don’t know where the time goes. My priority is always the conference, as you know the in person event is sold out, and I have been following up with emails checking that…

We’re almost there! The countdown to the 21st UK Tarot Conference has begun, and I’m now counting down days instead of months. I won’t lie—sleepless nights are starting to creep in as I double-check everything in my mind, making sure I haven’t overlooked a single detail. There’s just so much to remember! Unlike most conferences…

  • February 2024 Update

They say January is the longest month of the year, but for me it went by way too fast, not only tying up loose ends with the Conference venue, but also working on a new project which is confirmed in the diary for 3-5th April 2025 (more on this later) the month went by in…

  • July 2026 Update

July is a slow month for the conference; most things are in hand by now, and other than sending the final invoices for ticket payments and receiving the wonderful news that Weiser/Red Feather are to be one of our amazing sponsors for the conference, and creating new banners for the conference, I have had time…

I had a truly magical time in Salem. It was my first visit to Massachusetts, and it far exceeded my expectations. Spending time with Betty Jane, who travelled from Canada, was a real highlight. Betty Jane is a Salem expert—she knows the place like the back of her hand—and made the experience even more special…
