May 2024 Update

goodie items boxesAs the conference gets ever closer, the excitement is building as the first shipment of goodies arrived today, courtesy of our friends at Lo Scarabeo. It’s as if the universe is conspiring to make this year’s conference even more special as aside from the lovely people at Llewellyn, three more companies and a wonderful individual have confirmed their participation in filling our goodie bags and will be sending over gifts for us to enjoy. The goodie bags are shaping up to be a real treat!

As the conference grows, so does the need for storage. I’ve had to invest in new shelving to accommodate the ever-growing piles of decks and deliveries. Let’s just say it’s a bit of a tarot card chaos around here, with boxes and decks stacked haphazardly everywhere. I’m too embarrassed to share a photo, but I promise to tidy up and share a picture once the new shelving is built and I’ve got everything organised.

The feedback about last year’s conference bags was so positive, I’ve reordered them with a purple theme. Interestingly, purple, without trying, has become a natural fit for our World year.  Any ideas why that has happened?  Our World card from the Limited-Edition Arcana 20 deck features Betty Jane from Canada and is dominated by the regal colour.  Speaking of which, Chris Butler and I have an idea brewing that involves… you guessed it – purple!

A reminder that anyone holding a ticket on deposit, please let me know if you are not going to make it in person. Numbers are secured at the venue, and I have a waiting list.  Of course, you can switch to a virtual ticket if you prefer.

If you purchased a copy of the latest Esotoracle you will know Steven and I are taking a break whilst other projects take priority.  The link has just gone live to purchase download versions of all Issues from 1 – 10 you can check it out here, ten copies for £45 https://esotoracle.com/esotoracle-bundle-1-to-10

I am away next week, I mainly post on my IG @kimarnold2310 if you want to follow my travel around Europe where I shall be discovering Tarot shops from Dubrovnik, Taranto, Montenegro, Sicily and Malta.  If you know of any shops please let me know.

That’s all for now, have a great month.

You would think six months prior to a fully sold-out conference life would be easy. If anything, it is picking up pace. I honestly don’t know where the time goes. My priority is always the conference, as you know the in person event is sold out, and I have been following up with emails checking that…

I’m currently preparing for my Canterbury event on June 6th.  As I do my homework, I find myself thinking about my school days when trips to the cathedral were part of the curriculum. I must admit, I found all the historical details quite boring back then. However, gaining a deeper understanding of the religious and…
