January 2024 Update

The first thing I did as we entered 2024 was to contact potential speakers and venue.  It is important to me that venue contracts are signed, and speakers lined up early in the year, that way I can breathe but still have plenty of room to play with if there are any hiccups along the way.   I have spoken to the venue today and hopefully contracts will be with me by next week.    As soon as my signature is on paper, I will announce my speakers.

When speakers are confirmed and when I initially put the programme together, I always leave a gap because I know someone will ‘appear’ perfect for the missing slot, and without hesitation it happened this year, I am buzzing with the line up and having to sit on my hands to stop me blabbing too soon lol!

If you can’t join us in person this year, we have an Early Bird offer on the virtual ticket of just £68.00 (full price £130.00) this will run until the 1st April 2024.  Don’t miss out if you want to grab a virtual ticket now.

The New Year is always a good time for me, I love the energy of starting fresh.  As a qualified Feng Shui practitioner (although a little lapse), I love the idea of clearing out the old and making space for new opportunities.  I am very ruthless when I clear out, except for my tarot decks and books.  I have literally hundreds of titles gathered in boxes.  I am determined to have a clear out, in fact the thought has come to mind of having an open house in the summer, it might happen, we shall see.    Steven Bright and I are in full swing working on our new deck ‘Home Magic’ an oracle themed on principles of Feng Shui (you don’t have to know a thing about the subject) and self-care.   It is all very exciting.

Aside from working on the conference and the Home Magic Oracle, I have another project in the pipeline, it is very early stages and if I can pull it off it will be start of something unique, fresh and exciting, in case you are wondering, tarot based!  If I can pull all the elements of this together, I will be making an announcement at the conference.  (In case of any rumours, I am not going anywhere, and the conference will always be my number one priority) however, it is important to keep moving forward and I hope this new project happens.

I think you are going to love it!

They say January is the longest month of the year, but for me it went by way too fast, not only tying up loose ends with the Conference venue, but also working on a new project which is confirmed in the diary for 3-5th April 2025 (more on this later) the month went by in…

The countdown to the 22nd UK Tarot Conference has officially begun, and as always, this close to the event, I find myself lying in bed, wide awake as ideas and reminders flood my mind around 3 a.m.— my memory leaping into action in the quiet hours 😊. September is always a busy month, it’s a…

  • December 2024 Update

The December Newsletter is always a moment of reflection for me, a time to look back on the year and evaluate the highs and lows. This year’s conference was arguably one of the best we’ve had since the pandemic. And while there were a few behind-the-scenes stresses, it’s essential that all of you see only…

  • January 2025 Update

2025 has had an interesting start and I am hoping the Hermit year improves. After a bout of flu which I passed on to the family (you are welcome), the grandchildren both got chicken pox, I have had this twice in my life which is apparently unheard of but thankfully I escaped the spotty disease!…

It has been a busy and interesting month.  Martin retires at the end of July, and this has actioned many ‘goodbye’ events, firstly from his team in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I flew up for a few days and took the train from Edinburgh to Glasgow to have tea with Marion Kirk.   Glasgow is a beautiful city,…
