April 2024 Update

You would think six months prior to a fully sold-out conference life would be easy. If anything, it is picking up pace. I honestly don’t know where the time goes.

My priority is always the conference, as you know the in person event is sold out, and I have been following up with emails checking that those holding tickets on a deposit will be joining us. We have a commitment to the venue regarding numbers, so please inform me if you are holding a spot but are unable to attend in person this year.

We have just received the latest issue of the Esotoracle, and I have been causing a bit of a stir at the Post Office with my daily bundles for mailing (lol). Producing a magazine is no small feat, especially for Steven who is the creative mastermind behind the professional look of the Esotoracle. We have both been feeling the time crunch lately and have decided to pause publication after this issue. But before rumours start flying, we want to assure you that we have something truly special in store for the Tarot community in 2025. This is a time of transition for us, and we are excited to bring you even more content and inspiration in the future. Stay tuned for updates by connecting with us on Instagram @the_esotoracle, and all will be revealed after the conference. You can purchase a hard copy or download version here https://esotoracle.com/issue-ten

Look at me ……. I have been morphed into a Tarot card, here I am as The Hermit. This is a deck inspired by Jolanda De Jong (Tarotjo) you can read more about the deck here: https://tarotjo.com/store/unique-tarot-deck-english-version Jo will be speaking at the UK Tarot Conference in October, in fact she is our opening speaker and will be bringing copies with her.

Finally, my ‘Tarot by the Sea’ retreat scheduled for April 2025 is already booking up, yay, it is such a nerve-racking experience stepping out of one’s comfort zone, but I am so passionate about this venture. Having hosted retreats years ago this feels like stepping back in to something special, I have always enjoyed the connections and friendships that are formed in these settings, there really is nothing quite like it.

Can you believe another year is almost over? I truly loved this year’s conference — celebrating the Fool, the new venue, and the incredible speakers made it a standout for me. Honestly, this was the highlight of my year, and from the feedback I’ve received, I know you felt the same way. While I’m usually…

  • June 2025 Update

This month, I had a meeting with the events team at The Copthorne Tara Hotel. Julie, my new contact, was delightful, professional, and on the ball, something I haven’t been used to in the past (lol).    She could not have been more helpful, which in turn stops me from hyperventilating!   Although we have a larger…

It always astounds me when I realise how much the UK Tarot Conference has influenced and attracted attention from overseas, connections made with strangers, whose only link between us is Tarot, have been a huge and unexpected blessing.   I promised that this year, as we reach the end of the major arcana that the event…

  • March 2026 Update

March was a whirlwind. Each year, I attend the London Book Fair with Steven Bright, other than a good catch-up with Steven, the visit is primarily to reconnect with publisher friends and to secure items for the UK Tarot Conference goodie bags. I’m aware that I’ve set a high standard for these goodie bags—arguably the…
