July 2025 Update

It has been a busy and interesting month.  Martin retires at the end of July, and this has actioned many ‘goodbye’ events, firstly from his team in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I flew up for a few days and took the train from Edinburgh to Glasgow to have tea with Marion Kirk.   Glasgow is a beautiful city, and Marion went all out, booking a fabulous tearoom to spend the limited time I had there.  I was very honoured to hold in my hands the Grief Oracle.  What can I say, one card particularly moved me, hit an emotional nerve; they are stunning, and so much thought and energy poured into every card in the deck.  Fingers crossed, she will be able to bring stock to the conference in October.

After my flying trip to Glasgow, I headed back to Edinburgh. It was such a joyful few days as I surprised Martin with a visit from the family.

Once back home, 12 weeks to go before the conference, reality hit as boxes from our friends at Llewellyn were waiting for us. The garage space is beginning to look very full! The conference is coming along nicely; invoices have been sent out to those holding a place on deposit. Please settle before August 8th. If you need longer, message me; this is not a problem.

I was invited to the London launch of Ari Wisner’s ‘Find Your Own Way’ Oracle this month, held in a hidden garden at the back of Shaftesbury Avenue, who knew this lovely green space existed amongst the hustle and bustle of central London.  It was such a lovely evening, and of course I had to buy a deck.  Ari will be at the conference and will have a few for sale, which he is happy to sign, so a chance to have a look for yourself.

This year, I have reduced the price of a virtual ticket. My dream is to include as many people as I can from around the world, and of course, for those who cannot attend in person.  This is a chance to learn more about Tarot from some of the greatest teachers of our time. Check out my offer here http://tarotconference.co.uk/booking/

Next week, I am meeting Betty Jane in Salem as we are both attending the Witch City Tarot & Divination Gathering. I am so looking forward to sharing my adventure with you next month.  I will be posting on Instagram @kimarnold2310 and @UKTarotconference – if you want to see what I am up to, do give me a follow.

And just as I go to publish this ‘News’, Chris Butler has sent me the promotional video for Arcana 78 …. Check it out here https://youtu.be/UixJPo92NqE

That’s all for July, we are just 11 weeks away from the UK Tarot Conference, it is going to be epic!

Have a great month
