“By changing nothing, nothing changes.” -Tony Robbins

What a strange energy as we wake Monday morning after the aftermath of the Euro vote.   There are not many of us who embrace change of any sort, even the basic stuff such as what time we eat our meals, to what day of the week you do your shopping.  We are by nature creatures of habit, but now a bloody big spanner has been put in the works and we seem to have gone in to meltdown.

There is plenty of scaremongering going round at the moment, of course there is, I don’t believe anyone thought the vote would go the way it did, (even the out campaign politicians). But it has, the majority are saying enough is enough.   If the Government believed the effect of an out vote would have major devastating consequences then surely it should never have got to the polls, they did not have to, so what do they know that we don’t?  Or were they so arrogant in thinking a YES vote was in the bag it never occurred to them the NO vote would win.

I do not believe this is all about immigration, god forbid, I have friends living here from every corner of the world and I am in pain thinking about their worry. Of course immigration is an issue, but the government can’t put every immigrant on a bus and ship them out, and anyway, we the good people of this island would not allow it.   I believe the result was as much to do with the gravy train known as Brussels who decide what we can and can’t do, add a weak Prime Minister who has no idea what the ordinary man on the street wants and there you have it, a roller coaster to disaster.

Just for a moment think about a meeting at the EU HQ (do straight cucumbers ring a bell, I honestly thought that was a joke when I heard).   Now think about the average council office worker in this country, good salaries, guaranteed pensions certainly for those who have established themselves, now times that by a thousand because that is the equivalent of the EU unelected representatives working on our behalf.  I have a couple of clients who work at the EU HQ and their work stress is no more or less than ours, however, the benefits will blow your mind away.  It was time for an overhaul and someone had to do it. Ok I rather it had not been us but it was.   I believe this change will all sort itself out as everything does, in the meantime we have to ride the tide.   What else can be done?

Interesting that we work with the Lovers energy today, I am sure like most Brits you are not feeling very loved at the moment.  But everything is for a reason and I am sure in the long run, reform and calm will be in order and it may at the end of the day, be the best thing that could have happened.  Of course the jury is still out on that one.  For now, breath people just breathe.

In the words of Bob Marley …….  Don’t worry bout a thing, cause everything little thing is gonna be alright
